Stories in the Stars
After a day of adventure, look up and let the night sky take over. Stories in the Stars invites you to gather at the trailhead behind the hotel as evening settles over the ponderosa pines and the stars come into view above Flagstaff, the world’s first International Dark Sky City.
Led by cultural astronomer and dark sky advocate Dr. Danielle Adams, this evening explores the cultural backstories behind well-known autumn star names and the Milky Way arcing overhead. Close-up telescope views of the crescent Moon, ringed Saturn, and other celestial wonders bring the cosmos within reach. It’s the perfect way to end your day of exploration.
